If your looking for a Free place to camp without limitation, less busy than the bolto reserve campsite that is several hundred meters away from this one, that has toilets and a boat ramp costing $10 per night its a good choice. Its still next to murray river, about 100m from ferry, on the other side river is mannum township. All in walking distance. Showers $5 at mannum leisure centre opposite the OTR service station, diring open hours 3pm-7pm M-Thu & 6am-10am Fridays. Closed weekends. Big4 offer $10 showers during normal business hours. South side of Haythorpe reserve is good open space for solar, rest is under river gum trees. Road traffic noise commuting from and to ferry crossing during 24hrs, quietest from 10pm till 8am. Less traffic.
