This has the potential to be 5 stars but a few things disappointed us during our stay. Mostly the cleanliness of the toilets and showers, there are 2 blocks, one newer. On first glance it looks clean but it’s actually pretty grimy, they didn’t seem to be cleaned everyday and if so it was a poor job. Hand sanitizer dispenser fell off the wall and was on the ground for 3 days. Other campers can be inconsiderate and noisy, I was in the office while another guest had mentioned the noise from the night before going to 3am, staff were defensive and put it back on this guest to inform the night manager, not a good response I thought. If the night manager was on site they would have heard the partying (it was loud and several sites around the place) and could have dealt with it before a complaint arose. As it’s in the hills the sites are on a slope, just be prepared to level out your van etc. if you can. Lots of duck poo and prickles in the grass. Otherwise there is a lot to like about this place, great location, modern facilities, games room, pool and sites surrounded by trees, shrubs, great views.
