Free is one star for free, lack of amenities and difficulty finding sans navigation device means it stays at one star. All in all, I liked it.

If you can get a spot in the water it is incredible, but otherwise there is plenty of flat area just before you reach the lake. No amenities. According to a few reports/reviews I have found it is no longer a designated campground and absolutely no fires year round

Large area available, choose your own spot. Fires allowed in season. Be prepared for a long uphill drive.

If you’re looking for a getaway from civilisation, this is the place for you. Accessible in two wheeled drive, lots of different areas to camp or caravan. No power, no toilets or showers. Be truly out in the bush with all the wonderful trees and sounds.
