Space to set up next to the oval for $5 donation a night (however theres not a lot of even ground). Clean toilets, water tap (not for drinking), free tennis/netball/basketball courts and playground. Walking distance to the pub and general store, short drive to many wineries in the barossa! Dog friendly!

Just an update. They have knocked down the old toilet block and built a new one but it's not quite finished yet. Very caring local council.

We loved this spot! Quiet and clean. $5 honesty box donation per night. It has lots of spots for tents and caravans, toilets are clean, though no showers. Great playground for the kids. There is a pub down the road which people say is great, if you’re there on a long weekend you need to book! We were there on a long weekend and weren’t able to get a table. Other than that, not much in the way for evening dining with in walking distance. A couple places to do wine or beer tasting with in walking distance.

Question:

Does this place get busy on a long weekend?

Answer:

I am local and the most I have ever seen there is 19 vans. Given that, it doesn't leave that much more room and a lot of sites aren't that level. An alternative would be the Showgrounds at Kapunda. I am not a great lover of caravan parks. by Ivor Carter
