A stunning campground right on the lake. Windmills in the distance provide a gorgeous view from anywhere in the campground. There are toilets, showers, and drinking water available. An undercover shelter with a BBQ is in the middle of the grounds as well. We visited in January and there were about 50 other rigs and cars there. It is a massive campground with sites stretching very far along the road so even on school holidays or busy times of the year there will always be space. There is a donation box upon entry but it isn’t required to donate. It was a very peaceful and safe place to stay, no maximum stay either.
