If I could rate this any lower I would. We decided to stay here as a stop over for our road trip. The place is run down but we thought we would give it the benefit of the doubt during our stay... However, the gas hob doesn’t work properly with onsite staff struggling to turn it on. The kitchen sink is tragic, swimming pool looks like it hasn’t been used since 1998, bathrooms haven’t seen a paintbrush in perhaps 30 years and just to top off the experience, we had an issue with theft. We decided to speak to the manager about the issue... If there was something someone couldn’t be any more uninterested in, theft at their campsite would be it. We got asked if we wrote our name on the item but what difference would that have made, unless your name is terrifyingly intimidating for the thief to re-evaluate their actions. Management did absolutely NOTHING and we were stood there in amazement at how fantastically this situation got handled. This campsite has CCTV but clearly it’s an absolute waste of money and perhaps they could spend some of that on courses for better management training. In case you’re wondering how much an unpowered site is, it’s $25 with the likelihood of theft.
