Absolutely loved it, it was the perfect spot and I had so much fun on my paddle board, would've been better if we were on the sand, 4 stars

Lovely spot, great sandy beach for kids to play. Toilets aren't great, byo toilet paper. Self contained will be fine. Only downside is this site attracts some campers that like to party. Would be very peaceful if you get relaxed neighbours that aren't playing music, setting off fireworks, etc....

We just camped at Forges Beach Number 2 for a couple of nights and it was lovely. Only downside was the irrigation pump running most of the night. Oh and those frogs! Dozens of different calls, presumably different species, going nuts at night, but that kind of noise we can appreciate. The birds were pretty rowdy too. Our Kelpie boy loved his first camping trip too.
