Went camping here first weekend of October, clear sky was really cool. Took 4 noisey kids though didn’t seem to annoy anyone as plenty of space to still feel isolated from other campers. We took tent and swags and wasn’t annoyed by any biting critters or mossies. I’m guessing we burned some dead debris that deters them. Rock was some what safe to walk on though some steep parts. I crossed over the rock with a 10 yr old autistic son his 9 yr old brother and two 5 and 3yr old girls and managed a safe adventure over the top to Monty’s pass to the cave and wave on the other side. Kids found red eyes in the bushes, turned out to be a really big cat so make sure you hide your food at night.
