Big spacious sites with plenty of options, setup and then explored the area. Caught fish and squid from the beach, had a great time

Really lovely spot, right next to a stunning beach and several coastal walking tracks. Easy to get to, but a decent stretch of gravel road - no need for a 4WD, but good to be aware. It's a big campsite, with plenty of sites of various sizes, all individually fenced. No booking, just show up. Max stay 28 days. There are two toilet blocks with flushing toilets, but bring your own loo paper. No drinking water or rubbish bins on site.

Great camping spots, the beach was fabulous and people were fishing of the beach, there are toilets, a bit of drive into it on smooth gravel road

Question:

This isnt a question but a comment: there is no bin at this campground. Please make sure to take ALL your rubbish with you. The place is too nice to be spoiled with litter. Enjoy! ?

Answer:

Couldn’t agree more! There were bags of rubbish when we stayed there earlier this month. It’s so disappointing! There are lots of bins in St Helens nearby. by Alexandra F.
