Nice big park, didn’t have a reservation so ended up in quite a small site that wasn’t overly suitable for the size of our vans, they did however help us with parking vehicles due to this. Would pay to book in advance to avoid this issue. Ok amenities, lots of things for kids to do, large camp kitchen area to congregate. Lots of new work happening with cabins. Would definitely stay there again.
Arrived with no reservation. Vanessa allocated an awesome , spacious triangular shaped site close to all ameneties. Great faciñities, very neat. Was provided an extensive list of venues to visit. Seven Hills Hotel provides courtesy bus to and from which also took our dog, so double thumbs up to them. Very much recommended.
We enjoyed our two nights stay in Clare. Great facilities for the kids - pump track is awesome. We were on a gravel site as we joined friends, would have preferred to be on the grassed sites. Lots of shaded areas and good camp kitchen for all to enjoy. Instagram: @xpdition.aus Facebook: @xpdition.aus Caravan: Network RV 22.2" 4x4: Nissan Patrol Y62 Series 5
A well managed park in lovely setting. So why only 3 stars? Well we are budget campers and use unpowered sites when available. At this park these were in a lovely spot but the nearest water tap was located at the powered sites. Also the toilets were located way over in the main part of the park. A second set of toilets is definitely needed in the large grassy area that includes the unpowered sites. But still a good place to stay with otherwise good facilities.
