For someone that doesn't camp as much as she would love too .this camp site is perfect. Perfect views of the lake and the fire places are awsome too.

We had this campsite mostly to ourselves over Australia Day weekend. There were a few campers who just stayed for a single night showed up near evening and left the next day. Camp site well maintained with the water company visiting once per day. Clearly marked camping areas, fire pits and signs to declare fire ban days. Close to Halls Gap, also a good stop over if travelling between Melbourne and Adelaide. Fire wood can be found from fallen limbs but scarce. Lake is swimmable- muddy. Was shallow, could walk out past buoys, good for paddle boarding. Windy the first night but fine the rest. Only two camp areas here provide good shade during the day.

Very exposed and windy when we visited. Close to the lake and plenty of place to camp. 3 fire pits.
