Over all it's a good place to camp except for the road has got potholes and corragation in the road it would be good if Parks and Wildlife kept the road maintained

Beautiful spot to free camp. Sites are well maintained. Toilets are well maintained and super clean. Good variety of site sizes as well. Short ten minute drive into St Helen’s for provisions if needed. The beach is about a 5 minute walk from your camp site beautiful clear water, no dogs allowed but have seen campers with dogs however they are well behaved and on leash. Overall beautiful quiet spot to pull into private sites, just have to soak in the serenity and enjoy the local wildlife.

Lovely free camp site. Hybrid toilets but no water. Nearest water at St Helens 8km away . Access by dirt road . Take what you bring in and leave site pristine. We ended up cleaning up 2 sites that were left filthy by others. Beach and basin stunning and very quiet.
