Can’t ask for anything better for a free campsite. Grassy sites available right on the river bank with flushing toilets, showers (paid) and garbage bins this is a great campsite. We only stayed overnight on our way through but it looked like a few mountain bikers had setup base camp here for some nearby trails. We would happily stay here again.

Nice little spot by the lake. Stayed on a Saturday night so there were quite a few people already setup when we arrived, but managed to setup camp in a quiet corner. BBQ facilities looked clean and functional. Toilet block seems to be new-ish and relatively clean. Showers available for a small fee. Fire pits also spread out throughout the campground. Overall we had no complaints considering it’s a free spot!Would happily stay again.

Free camping alongside a beautiful river, suitable for all campers. No poweredsites, pretty poor toilets cleaned daily but hot shower ($4) and toilets are available 1km East in the centre of town. The place to camp for MTBing Blue Derby
