Overcrowded (even with covid), dirty dated amenities, indifferent rangers. Access to the beach a pain due to the amount of day trippers. This used to be a pristine camp spot ☹️
Great campspot, plenty of facilities, there's a rangers office open till 4pm most days which you can buy ice and wood from. Quite a busy camp ground and some of the camping area is very very dusty, could get quite muddy in the rain too. Other than that very beautiful spot. I would recommend snorkling around the rocks to the north, or walking further north to pebble Beach. There is a Cove which has smooth marble like pebbles instead of sand and when the water breaks over them, it gives of the most pleasant peaceful sound.
Fantastic Campground. Gas fired cooking facilities and fire pits for cooking too. Stones throw from the beach and wildlife galore!

Hi, if anyone interested to camp on Depot beach this weekend, there will be few sites available. Unfortunately few families had to cancel their trip. I will be cancelling mine tomorrow. ?
