Beautiful campsite, great facilities and not packed

$10 for access to the back paddock on the river and camp bathrooms (3 with hot shower and flushing toilet, a short walk away at the side of the pub). Great place to stop for a night or two and the food and beer at the pub are spot on.

You have to go into the pub and pay a $50 deposit to collect the gate key. There is plenty of space, the river flowing behind and lots of fire pits available. You need to remove all rubbish with you.... Read more

There is a fabulous free camp out the back of the iconic Dargo Hotel. It’s grassy campsite right beside the creek and you might even see some sheep roaming about. Fires permitted in the fire pits. Great pub grub at the hotel and the meals are huge! Plenty of memorabilia adjourning just about every space on the walls and ceiling (!!) of the pub. Loads of character and well worth a stop over.
