Quiet and plenty of space
A very quirky Aussie campsite , it has a little shelter and lots of camp spots . Good place to metal detect too . I loved staying there , met a local and stayed for 3 days . Very quiet but you have to be self contained as there are no amenities. There is a church with a rainwater tank across the road too
Good overnight spot. Very quiet for a roadside stop. Some intrresting history of the space. Sign on the way in is unclear however Im not sure you are supposed to use tents. I left space as I found no issues.
Great spot to stay overnight to escape the stormy weather. It’s free! There is an undercover picnic area with tables and chairs and a toilet just across the road at the church.
Quaint. Nice flat area to stay overnight. Hidden from road. Signs at the turnoff towards the site show fires aren’t permitted. When I visited the toilet door (behind church) was broken off hinge but still clean. Road in is not marked. It’s in the right hand side just before you enter the Conservation Park (when coming from Crystal Brook/ Meriton direction).
