Stayed here for 2 nights in our tent just before Easter. Plenty of space along the river ... we were between two bushes so was a nice private area. Had an open fire, although not many big logs around... Read more

Great spot. Right on the waters edge. No grassy areas so when the wind whipped up we had dust and sand right through our tent. Wind was so strong it caused some damage to our tents as well.

A few permanents living here and one in particular is very abusive “feral” and will not let u camp near him He is the first site when u come into Simmie Road right on the river he abused a few people when we were there and he should be reported to the council

It's extremely busy during holiday periods and weekends. There are drop toilets in some locations along the Murray. by Andrew
