I'm camping at Christies Beach camp spot and I'm enjoying it very much. There are heaps of camp spots along the Murray River. There's plenty of bird life, my favorites are the Pacific black ducks. There's no drinking water, so you'll need to bring your own. There's a drop toilet nearby. Lots of deadwood for campfires. Mobile reception is okay at best. Most camp spots are full during holiday periods and summer weekends. Echuca town is only a 5min drive. Will camp here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights in our tent just before Easter. Plenty of space along the river ... we were between two bushes so was a nice private area. Had an open fire, although not many big logs around... Read more

Great spot. Right on the waters edge. No grassy areas so when the wind whipped up we had dust and sand right through our tent. Wind was so strong it caused some damage to our tents as well.
