Incredible spot in the heart of Warrumbungles National Park. We camped at Blackman 3, facilities are basic drop toilet, showers and other facilities are available across the creek at Blackman 1, no drinking water available at this site. Doesn’t get much better than this, stunning view of the Milky Way from your campsite, great walks ranging from 10mins to 10 hours, fantastic wildlife and scenery. Highly recommend checking out the new visitor centre, great for kids. Also recommend a day trip to the Pilliga region, must do Pilliga pottery, sandstone Caves walk and sculptures in the scrub. Will be back!
