Not as easy to find as the map indicates , First camp was full of angry bull ants (we’re travelling with a dog 😩) Went closer to road up on a rise ,overlooking the broken dam ,much nicer . Can hear some road noise but not an issue : Quiet and peaceful , loads of birds . Plenty of firewood A nice one nighter

Campsite a bit further along on right than shown on map. Cleared spot next to stand of pines. Sandy creek bed not flowing now. Quiet protected site far enough away from bridge and road to minimise traffic noise.
