Good free rest stop ~ donation box. Public toilet short walk over the bridge. Ducks, cockatoos and possums. Mount Alum Aboriginal site short drive ~ tree carvings!

Beautiful spot by the river. Very busy, but lots of spots available. Toilet 500mt away (no showers), close to the small town of Bulahdelah where you can find some shops (iga, tavern, oliver’s, post office).

24 July 2023 I have just spoken to mid nth coast council and Bulahdelah lions park is closed and they are waiting on DA approvals for work to repair flood damage and it will close for quite some time to come. by Michelle W.

Is this camp site still open 03/02/2021?

Answer:

No. 19/02/2021. Port Stephen’s Council still “assessing” COVID measures. Maybe still on Christmas leave? All private Caravan Parks in the area have “assessed” COVID and are open. by Trevor W.
