This campsite has closed down I assume by the bowling club as the gate is closed and firmly locked with a padlock

Good spot to pull up and stay the night. At the back corner of the lions field, drive in the the club as normal, looks like your driving into an oval, follow the track around the the back near the railway bridge.

Great place, close to town centre, could hear trucks on the main road, but it didn’t affect my stay, didn’t get a chance to hear the passing trains, must have been comfortably sleeping.

In town which is good. Next to the railway line, noisy. Good layover on a through trip, not good as a destination.
