Beautiful place to camp and enjoy with friends

Clean and well kept with strict rules on late nights so no worries with loud neighbours. Very close to the beach, with a very nice pool too. A good range of sites, although ours was quite narrow but we adjusted our tents and it all fit ok. Recommended !

Nice and clean. But when I stayed lot of people drinking too much and no one tell to them. At night couldn't sleep because of noise.

Great little park, good sites, clean facilities, pool and playground for children. Blacksmiths beach, granny’s pool and the Seawall a short stroll away. Dog friendly. Staff were very friendly. 10pm quiet time but unfortunately there was one group of inconsiderates that kept people awake until 2am with their obnoxious behaviour the Friday night. They were very quiet the following night so I suspect they were reported and spoken to.

Blacksmiths beachside holiday park is wonderfully positioned between blacksmiths beach and Lake Macquarie offering endless swimming opportunities. There are 3 good quality boat ramps with in 5 minutes... Read more

Question:

We have a 12yo toy poodle who is deaf n blind. As we need to take her with us when we go out, can we take her walking on the beach or on any bush trails?

Answer:

Blacksmiths dog beach is part of Nine Mile Beach extending from the beach car park off Awabakal Avenue, northerly to the Belmont Golf Club boundary. Leash free at all times. by Penelope
