Highly recommend this campsite to other travellers. It is sandwiched between two beaches, one being a surf beach and the other being more calm. The calm beach is nicknamed stingray beach due to all the stingrays being there; also lots of kangaroos about. There are plenty facilities around and the bathrooms/showers seemed very new and clean.

Myself and two others had an amazing experience at Bendalong. One of the group forgot poles for our tent and for an hour we thought we were sleeping outside. That is until the manager of the park saved us an gave us two of his own swags. Bendalong is one of the most picturesque places along the south coast with pumping waves within walking distance. I would highly recommend. Top bloke, top time, top place. Cheers Josh you legend.

Really good value as a backpacker. Friendly staff. You can choose where you want to stay in the caravan park instead of being assigned an area. Multiple drinking water taps placed around the park. The beach is a bit of a walk away through the bush - this beach had a pod of dolphins and the other beach had which was just down the hill through the gate had stingrays. Not much surf swell while we were there. Clean toilets and showers with a code to enter.
