Very small camping area as stated, but would have been 8 or more tents when we arrived around 3.30 between Xmas to New Years. Nice to just go for a quick dip to cool down or wash off in the water. Don’t take the road that says 4wd’s only as it leads onto more tracks that just go through the forest for about 30-45 minutes but is a nice easy drive for a regular dual cab.
Such a beautiful spot - so close to the river! Was lovely to swim there! However there isn’t many camping spots available. Also no dogs!
Arrived at 5pm, 2 of the 5 sites were already taken. We were blown away by the position of the campsite. 50m away was a series of glorious river rapids. By the time it was 7pm, the campsite had filled... Read more
Was cold and wet when we stayed there. The river was in full flow but road was closed from campsite onwards. Toilet there, which was clean.
