Very open space. Close to beach. Windy, with very little shade. One unisex toilet!!! RV dump point and drinking water!
Stayed for one night, very windy not much protection from the wind. Great campsite if you are self sufficient. Plenty of space. Only one unisex toilet for the entire site. Very close to the beach.
Great free camping spot. We stayed on New Years Eve and there was still plenty of space for camping and activities even though it was very busy. The toilet was clean and there are good bin facilities. There wasn't a lot of shade but plenty of flat ground for swags and awnings.
Close to the beach. Good site if you are self contained or bearable if just passing by. Otherwise, a single flush toilet for a site that nominally can house upwards of 100+ tents and campers. Very windy. Lots of mysterious lumps of toilet paper around the grassy edges of the site.

Great open space for a one night stay. Just pay whatever you like (we paid $10 for the night) at the general store. Toilet is clean and tank water available. Dog friendly too!
Top Questions
Is there any way of booking? We are going to be here on New Year’s Eve which is obviously a busy time, so don’t want to get stuck with no where to stay. Thanks
No you can’t book but you pay a donation in the general store. Some locals said it gets busy but it a huge area to camp. by Craig M.
Great that’s good to know. Thanks by Julie S.

Many campers consider rainwater and toilets a bare minimum at campgrounds and luckily Australia is full of those. Here are 10 campgrounds we found near Tantanoola, SA which have toilets and rainwater. No need to bring a shovel this time (although do bring toilet paper - campgrounds aren't always stocked).
