Can get overcrowded. Best to go when it's quiet.
It’s a beautiful spot and pure rough camping next to river. Water is not that clear compared to rubicon valley. Road to this camp site is rough and small road, all the way next to valley but it’s acce... Read more
Perfect secluded spot. Very few sites available so not many people around. No phone reception. Road to campground can be dangerous (would suggest taking 4WD), only wide enough for 1 and a bit cars. Cheeky wildlife (big possum tried to join me in our tent one night). River was fairly dry when we were there but have heard it can be a nice swimming or fishing spot when flowing. Fires allowed. Drop toilet on site.

Nice little free camp on the river, deep swimming hole near the bridge, only about 6 sites and a drop toilet. Lots of goannas around this camp.
