One of the worst campsites I've ever been to. We booked (and paid) online for an unpowered site around 4pm for the same evening and since we knew we would arrive around 7pm we sent an email to let the owners know. When we arrived we found the office closed with a sign saying there was no availability and no envelope with our name on the door. We had to call and wait for the owners to return to give us the keys to the bathroom and show us where to put the tent. The owners didn't even apologize for the inconvenience and seemed annoyed. The bathrooms are basic and not very clean, the kitchen is minimal, without tables and with two small locked fridges (they can only be used by renting them weekly). Furthermore, the kitchen is only open from 7am to 9pm, having to leave early in the morning to catch the ferry we couldn't even use it to have breakfast. Terrible service

Lovely camp spot right on the waterfront, would be perfect for someone travelling on or off the spirit looking for a night or two close by. Easy to book in, we made a last minute decision to camp and booked in the night before and they were flexible with allowing us to check in earlier. We stayed unpowered and sites were nice and large. Would have been 5 stars but one of the ladies in reception was hit and miss with her friendliness toward myself and others in the office whilst I was present.

Great campsite for travellers off the Spirit of Tasmania (2 minute drive from port). Very friendly staff, welcomed us late after we docked. Lots of sites for caravans, camper vans and tents (powered and non-powered sites). Very clean and well maintained facilities; toilets, showers, kitchen. Would highly recommended!! Cheap way to start your Tassie adventure!
