This is one of our favorite bush campsites. Our dogs absolutely adore coming here! It’s a nature lovers paradise abundant wildlife; wallabies, goannas, wombats and wild goats can be spotted here. It’s a magical place to get away from it all and one of those rare campgrounds that is spaced out so that even in busy periods you have your own private camping area. Great spot to kayak, float on a tube. Toilets are portaloos and cleaned daily. Firewood can be purchased on site. The roads are a bit rough, better suited to a 4WD but our small cars managed, there’s 0 phone reception. There’s lots of trees suitable for tentsile or hammock tents.

Beautiful secluded spot. Very well maintained but basic amenities (permanent portaloos). Camp sites far enough away from each other that you hardly see another group unless you go walking. Allows campfires when conditions are favourable (can buy wood there) and pet friendly also. Can not wait to return again! 🏕 Word of warning though - the road in and out is pretty windy, narrow and built into the side of sheer cliffs. While we did the drive in and out in a sedan, I would have preferred something with higher clearance! Better to come from the old Hume Highway in, and NOT from Goulburn.

Perfect spot on the river. Sit back and let the relaxing begin. Owners work hard to ensure a good camping experience that suits everyone. Beautiful spot.
