It's a lovely spot to spend the night. Bathrooms are fine. Rubbish bins available. River is pretty. For the price (free) it's awesome!

Clean toilets and plenty of space, They have blocked off access to the beach so you cannot camp on the beach anymore but only a short walk down the hill from camp, Very close to the road.

Nice free campsite. Ammenities looked good. A lot of permanent caravans parked there. Very cold and windy this time of year. Close to road and vehicle noise.

Campground itself was fine. There were a lot of bull ants when we were there - not sure if seasonal or always like that and mozzie spray is very necessary. Toilets were good and clean, stocked with toilet paper. Bins also provided. There were clearly a few people who had set up camp there for longer than the allowed 72 hrs which wasn’t great. The noise from the road was very apparent (we were in a tent not a caravan). A family also rocked up pretty late and were drinking and playing loud music well into the small hours of the morning. Obviously nothing to do with the camp ground but coupled with the noise from the road it made it impossible to sleep. Personally I won’t be going back to this one and would avoid it. It wasn’t a place I’ll be rushing back to.
