Fantastic campground, is currently closed for repair works to the dam wall, due to reopen mid 2021. Will be exciting to see the changes once it’s reopened.

Stayed here in 2009 what a great place. Walking trail great atmosphere would definitely stay here again however another post claimed it is closed since July 2019. It would be nice to have this info verified

Great place to come with the family. Have been coming here for years. Grassy fields with ‘camp where you want’ policy. Flush toilets keeps the girls happy and secure security gate keeps the area free of random cars arriving without the code. Book early as the park has limited spaces and even when full there is heaps of space. Park fees apply and I think it’s closed from July 2019 for a few years.

Question:

Hi there. Does anyone know if you can put a fishing boat in here? Thanks

Answer:

I used to live in Warburton and as far as I can remember it there is no boating allowed. It is the local drinking supply by Gary T.

Answer:

No it’s a water catchment, you can’t access the lake at all. Eildon would be the closest lake for boat fishing. by Jeremy R.

Answer:

The Upper Yarra Reservoir is a water supply catchment for Melbourne. It's protected from entry to prevent contamination of the water supply. You can't enter the water supply catchment or the buffer area below the reservoir, except for access to Reservoir Park. by Gary T.
