Amazing campsite! My favourite campsite in the whole world. Could go again and again. If you do want to go, here are some tips and info. 1. There are many wild animals, including koalas (in the trees at the camp), dolphins (at both the private beach and boat beach), dingoes ( there used to be many but there are only a few now), large lizards (can’t remember the name) not dangerous but can get in the way 2. There is a cafe at the campsite and a very small store near boat beach, but apart from this there are no shops except the ones in foster (an hours drive away). So stock up on food 🍩🍋 3. There are many activities including beach fishing, swimming, biking (if you bring one) and many more. There are many beaches near the site, but our faves are 1. the private beach (10- 15 minute walk over the sand June’s or through the trees. Waves can be very tough not very good for weak swimmers. Blue bottles may be present), 2. boat beach (a 10- 15 minute drive. Us google maps for reference. Still water, little waves can get very windy not much shade. Bring umbrella for shade.) Bringing a bike is a good idea as the camp is quite large and it’s the easiest mode of transport (through the camp) Try and get a campsite in the shade as it can get up to 50 degrees. 😳 If you want to go with a large group try and camp in the billabong (it’s dries out) as it secluded so that you won’t disturb anyone DO NOT STAY UP LATE! Children camp here and getting drunk is not smart at home let alone in a campsite There are bull ants 🐜 and they do bite. When they bite it’s extremely painful. Bring insects repellent. That’s it! Hope it helped 😁😀
