Nice spot to stay for a night or 2. Few sites close to water edge other in more bush setting. No designated sites — first in, best dressed. I think about 20ish sites. Plenty of space, but it does fill up by late afternoon. $15/night for 2 people per site, $7.50per extra person. Pet-friendly with toilets, spotty Telstra coverage.

So many places, road to arrive dirt but I did it slow with 2 WD. Toilets there too. Close to river and beach is walking distance. Signs says $15 to camp.

BEWARE PET OWNERS - BUSH TICKS we found three on our dogs after our stop off here. Pretty good little site, previous reviews aren’t wrong, pretty tight when you’re down there. And aren’t super level. Access to the beach is a while away, and unless you get a spot right on the river you don’t really get a path to that either. Clean droppy, low reception but enough to watch the footy - if you’re running off solar, have a blanket because you’ll be chasing the sun if any gets through at all! :) Lots of mozzies bring your repellent! Unfortunately we had someone 10pm-1am on a 4stroke motorbike revving through through the dunes so we were up most of the night, but would’ve been a great night otherwise :)
