Nice spot for off grid camping. Had a couple of motorbikes riding on the dunes, but they buggered off when the saw me there. Flies were friendly when wind dropped out. There was evidence of litter around which is disappointing. But was well protected with on shore wind.

Yes, but your paying to camp at any of the sites at bamboos or the several other camp sites along that stretch of coast like wauraltee Beach. Actual spots are not held for you. First in best dressed. Or if you don't like the spot you can move onto another. You just need to provide your car rego details. by Heath J.
