Great beachside camping. The two times I’ve been there it’s been quiet enough. Better bring everything with you though

First ever Camp on the beach and was not disappointed! Everything clearly written on the website so we knew how to book and pay for permits etc. Beautiful beaches and to wake up every morning to the water at your door step was incredible!

Great beach camping. Non reserved sites so it means first in best dressed. Bins are provided every few kms so you can dispose of your rubbish easily. Most of the campsites are fairly protected as they're just behind the dunes still providing great visibility to the beach. There are some easier accessed campsites around the middle of the camping zone (15km long) that you can get caravans into and park/camp in grass. Fires are usually permitted in designated fire pits but there can be restrictions based on time of year and bush fires.

Can you get a caravan onto a site here?

Answer:

There’s a thousand variables but generally, yes you can. Assuming you’re not towing something that’s the maximum capability of your vehicle and experience, you shouldn’t have too many dramas. Coming off the beach through the cutting is where most will come unstuck. Most suitable van sites are in Zones 3-7. by Mark S.

How hectic is the 4wd too get to the camp ground at teewah? Would an 4x4 xtrail make it?

4x4 xtrail will make it no problems, just remember to air down and go into 4H (depending how soft the sand is at the moment) by Letisha S.

Do you need a 4x4 to access this campsite?

Answer:

Sure do. Access to the Teewah Beach campsites is 4x4 only. But, there are two camp grounds at Noosa North Shore that can be accessed by any vehicle. Theres one near the pub on Beach Road and another between the north and south beach cuttings. by Mark S.
