Nice camping area. Plenty of flat spots. Only one drop loo. Mosquitoes are extremely bad so come prepared! Gets a little busy near the water but calms down through the night. Possums are friendly a... Read more

Great campsite with lots of tent spots. Gets busy but right on the water. Fire pits and toilets available.

The track going into the site was completely NOT for normal cars, 4WD ONLY ! 500-800mm ruts, mud and slush, drove 3 1/2 hours to unfortunately turn around. Mosquitos were so bad if not prepared. However with proper equipment and vehicle, I will be back to enjoys the camping area.

Does anyone know if this place is suitable for swimming with small kids?

Answer:

I swim there but there have been bullsharks seen nearby by James S.

I wouldn’t swim here with small kids, there are Oyster farms. More suitable for boating and fishing by Rachael S.
