Great free camp, close to town. Heaps of open area to spread out. No facilities onsite, rubbish bins only. Tambo pub up the road has chicken races every day at 5:00pm, bit of a laugh.
Great free site by the river very close to town. No facilities, fires and dogs okay.
We camped for one night and it was the ideal free spot.
Great spot we will be back , close to town on the Barcoo river which needs a fill up , people in town very friendly.
Glad you enjoyed your stay in Tambo. Hopefully the next time we will have some water in the river
