My partner and I booked this site as he had so many great memories as a child, however we must have held high expectations. The staff were not welcoming when we checked in and out. The site is also overgrown making it difficult to walk through the wet grass and a perfect home for all sorts of critters - our powered site was home to a red back spider (on the power port). Please check these as it could have ended badly if we had not checked ourselves.

I'm sorry you never felt welcome as that is a integral part of our business. We have 600 plus people on our grounds and the rain has been continuous through out the Christmas New Year period so mowing has been restricted. I can assure you that your site was mowed recently, but the grass can grow 2 inches in a week at this time of year. Had you notified us of the spider while you were here we would have taken care of it for you. We hope to see you back soon.

The toilets are and were cleaned daily during your stay. Due to the continued rain we haven't been able to mow as often as we typically would. We also need to factor in work health and safety with so many campers around. Yes the mozzies were really bad this year, due to the rain after a long dry period, but we have trouble training them ;-) We hope to see you back here soon.
