Amazing campground with super friendly camp hosts. It cost $15 for us to enter the park and $11 per person per night in the campground, there is composting toilets, a camp kitchen and water for hand washing and dishes, however everything else you must be fully self contained. You pay the park entry at the ranger station as you come in and pay the camp host the camp fee at the campground- eftpos is available at both. It’s a really short walk to the inlet beach which is good for bream fishing, it was a bit windy today there so we went to young river instead which was fully sheltered and caught a bream each cast- big ones too! It’s 2wd and van accessible Into the campground and day use however if you explore the young river track I would recommend making sure your in a 4wd as the track is sand in some places. The camps are nicely tucked away from the wind, I would highly recommend staying here for a couple of days and exploring the park!
