Unfortunately the council have taken over the booking of all sites on the Eyre Peninsula. This means you need to book well in advance. You find people book and pay and not stay. So there will be empty sites but you can’t stay.

Looks lovely but the March flies were unbelievable so could not stay

Easy to get to this spot. Not too many sites but all have great views and beaches.

Fantastic secluded edge of water campsites. Honesty box $10 per night. Great sheltered kayaking, long white beach to stroll. No toilets or water. Must be self contained

Great spot with great views. A few small cliffs, will need to keep an eye out if coming here with kids.

Can you book camp sites at speeds point or is it first in best dressed ?

Been a couple years since I was there but it was just an honesty system. Turn up put cash in an envelope and drop it in a box. by Dan C.
