South Arm RSL & Community Club

This camp area is next to the RSL huge car park. It costs $7.50 a night and you get 24 hour access to the toilets and showers. Even though the camp spot is near the road, there is pretty much no traffic in the evening. There are some great coastal walks and surf beaches near by. If your lucky you may even get to see an Aurora. There seems to be space regardless of the time of year. I would recommend to stop at the hill street shop in Lauderdale on the way through to get your gourmet treats. The camp sit itself isn’t very pretty as it’s next to a car park but you get you wake up with the birds in the trees as there is a golf course right behind the RSL.

$5pp per night. Gets you access to a warm shower and toilets, both clean. Short walk to the lake nearby. Super quiet and you can eat at the RSL if you desire.

The Club staff is very helpful and friendly. Camping is allowed on the grassy part of the carpark and we could use the super clean and well maintained toilet and hot shower. Mainly for caravans and RV... Read more

Great shower/toilet, amazing price ($5 person/night) the camping sites/ground are not “that” flat/even though... we had an amazing weekend there anyways!
