What a fantastic site! Well maintained by Parks Victoria. Sites are well positioned and not too close to others that you feel cramped in when it is fully booked. 3 Drop toilets clean and well stocked with toilet paper. Saw ranger pass through the camp a couple of times over the weekend. Campground is close to Mackenzie falls and would be a great walk for young families. Lots of other great lookout points (Reid’s lookout/ Balconies) and tracks to explore on the way up from Halls Gap which is only a 30 minute drive away and the local stores are well stocked with equipment of anything needs to be replaced quickly. Will be back again!

Location perfect. No mobile reception except at Mackenzie falls carpark. Close encounters with wildlife. Respectful campers. Rangers alerted all on high fire danger days. BYO wood and water and marshmallows. Only assistance dogs allowed with permits.

Yes, dogs are allowed but you can always double check on the parks victoria website if in doubt by Erick M.

Answer:

I would double check. National parks are generally not pet friendly and the app doesn’t say it’s pet friendly. 🤔 by Mike W.

Answer:

According to Grampians regulations from park web “Dogs and other pets are not allowed in the park except in vehicles on sealed roads and in sealed car parks.” by Marton B.

Thank you by Grant M.
