Great area, convenience of the drop toilet, which was very clean considering. Plenty of room so campers don't have to be on top of each other's sites. Plenty of rocked campfires. Grass was well maintained by the cows in the area so don't have to be too concerned about snakes. Only downfall was no fish to catch in the clear water river/stream also no phone reception

SF provides almost everything to the hardcore camper. The site is nestled alongside an ovens river off-stream. The sun kissed water, flowing from the top of Mt Buffalo, is the purest I’ve ever bathed... Read more

Nice spot, only a few official fire pits but plenty of room besides. Is close to the dirt road but so are all the sites near here. Has access to the creek that runs past the site.
