My new favourite spot!! We arrived in the afternoon on Saturday and were greeted by the manager Chris who was extremely helpful as there weren’t many spots left by the time we got there. We found a great spot on top of the hill and were able to get set up really easily. We wandered the 100 metres over to Cactus Beach to check the surf and later went back to watch the most glorious sunset! We only got 2 nights here but I would have loved to stay a week! The toilets onsite are immaculately clean and the roads in are pretty decent for dirt roads. There are bbq/fire facilities available and plenty of bins to dispose of your rubbish and recycling. We were lucky enough to see a seal, plenty of lizards and a Master’s snake, which was really cool! We’ll be back every chance we get! You can’t book, you just show up and hope there’s a spot available. The manager will come around and collect a cash payment from you in the afternoon/early evening. It was $20 per adult and $7.50 per child. So we paid $95 for the 2 nights. Worth every cent! We were in a caravan, but there were plenty of different set ups all over the area.
