I had it completely to myself on a Friday night in June. Gorgeous view, fairly quick access to the beach down the dunes. Haze in the distance from waves crashing against the far end of the beach. Beach looks good for swimming, couldn’t see any signs of a rip. Quite a long, bumpy dirt road to get there, but easily managed in my rented hitop campervan. Watch for roos and emus. Saw a Sea Eagle- a rare treat! No facilities, except a park bench overlooking the view. No shelter either. No trees. A $5 online booking fee - the sign at the car park gives details. Could probably just manage 3 caravans.
