Great spot 2 km from Everton. Plenty of room, picnic benches, one clean drop toilet. There's a sandy beach perfect for swimming and fishing or chilling. There's plenty of fire pits also. Tall Poplars... Read more

We spent a night there… was beautiful along the river… very quiet at night … very peaceful… the toilets are good…possibility to light a fire… all in all, a lovely spot.

Spent 2 nights here- 26/27 December. Camped away from the tall trees alongside the river. Drop toilet was ok, but was on the nose after a couple of days of use and heat as well. Downside- accessible to all and easy to get to, which can bring the hordes of people/groups. Had about 30 phillos camp next to us and took up a lot of space. Zero consideration by them for other campers and ran a generator all day long until 11:30pm with loud music and loud chat. Positives- river was good, with small sort of beach. Be careful of fishing lines left in the water with hooks. Ouch!!
