Loved our stay here, we were planning on just one night before heading to Melbourne along the great ocean road, but felt so relaxed and comfortable that we stayed for two, spending a day checking out Warrnambool and its wonderful beaches and inlet. The site has clean toilets, sheltered BBQ area, playground and most importantly a wonderful fresh water swimming hole equiped with a ladder for easy entry and exit and a diving board for the more adventurous. Not something you see everyday!

Great place for 1 or 2 nights, clean toilets with toilet roll and a sink. Bbq area aswell as a washing area for pots and pans. Swimming hole with a diving board and swing. Lots of space for camping and caravans, however it does get busy !

Panmure is a great campground to for the night. Has two bathrooms with taps, toilet paper and hand dryers. A sink to wash your dishes. A great playground for kids. I am a very deep sleeper and heard no vehicles despite being next to the road. I will definitely stop here again if I pass the area in future!

If you are not a light sleeper and can deal with the highway noise then it is pretty good campsite as it is free. No potable water, bring your own. Toilets are new and clean.

Question:

hello! are we okay to just pull up? should we book in or call first?

Answer:

We just pulled in. Don’t know if you can book. Can be quite busy but a lot of people use it just overnight. If you don’t get a good site one night, shift when most leave the next day. by Kaye S.
