The police do move you on if you extend your stay, but are very friendly about it. The showers are handy. The energy there is so weird though, so if you're sensitive to that be mindful. Many wandering dogs.

Disregard the sign that says no camping before 6pm And leave at 9am We’ve stayed here for 4days now the police patrol regularly stopping to talk Amenities are better than some caravan parks Place is alive with cyclists using the new MBT on the hill behind 5stars from us👍👍

Lovely campsite by the river, from 6pm to 9am. Toilets, hot showers, bins, and electric barbecues. Best of all, it is free, thoroughly recommended. A short walk into the centre of town. There is a... Read more

I noticed on the reviews that there’s no tents allowed, does that include rooftop tents mounted on a trailer?

roof tent are ok as long as you pack up at 10am by P H.
