No showers, but excellent toilet facilities. Bookings required for powered sites, but unpowered is first in best dressed. Pay for drinking water ($2 donation), firewood, and fire pit hire. Unpowered sites $20/night, $40 powered. No charge for kids (peak season rates) Close to shops and restaurants, but feels like a rural site. Right on the Esk river. Mostly flat sites with generous size. Rubbing elbows with your neighbours, but not overly cramped. Space for kids to play and ride deadly treadlies. Not much in the way of shelter, so be prepared for wet or sunburn weather. Feed the animals, enjoy the area, have a good time

Have stayed here twice now. All the sites are marked out so you have an area. So very close to Launceston. Can fill your water tanks with town water for a donation. Great spot, thanks Ian. Oh, and the... Read more

Great spot if you want to explore Launceston. No facilities apart from garbage bins and some water taps scattered about. $10 per night and owner comes around in the early evening to collect. Stonesthrow cafe on the property along with toilets but its a 5min walk from camping area. Camping closed part of the year due to river flooding at times.
