Access to site is via sealed road. 2 well maintained drop toilets and bins provided. Several fire rings surround the site and it is situated near a small river (however you cannot swim or drink from). Nice location however somewhat close to the road (so you will hear cars passing) and it’s primary use would be for a quick one night stay (particularly because it is situated next to the 6 foot hiking track). The area is a bit hilly which can make the area a little hard to find a flat location to pitch a tent. Wouldn’t recommend a weekend trip here but a good spot for a one night stay/stopover or even as a picnic location. Good hikes along the road in, however come prepared as the good ones are quite the distance.
