Free camp. No facilities but peaceful by the river in the river gums.
Pretty good. Couple of full time ferals, but apart from that not bad. Council COULD also mow the grass more regularly.
Third time stopping o/n here . Felt safe (others here) . Easy access. Great for Dogs . Watch for snakes . Fishing, yes a few permanents , personally no trouble. But I don’t go near their sites .
We have been coming here for about 4 years. We started coming here because it was peaceful, friendly and inviting. Not any more. This could possibly be the last time we camp here. The permanents have wrecked this camping spot. They think they own the place. I was threatened by one of the permanents because I walked past there camp to take my grandson fishing. They think because they live here that the park is there’s and we should abide by there rules. The permanents have ruined this camping spot for everyone.
Lots of birds Watch out for large branches in overhead trees
